{break}through is an exploration of the emotional memory of water. We map the uprising of South Carolina's waterways during the 2015 floods on the bodies of 9 dancers, in honor and memory of the fallen innocents of the Charleston 9 massacre. This film is a collaboration between renowned choreographer, Kwame A. Ross; composer, Venecia Nahai and director, Roni Nicole Henderson.
